Bernadette A Toney

Bernadette A. Toney, 81, of Jerry City passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019.  Bernadette was born in Chicago to the late Joseph Marciniak and Florence Meller on May 22, 1938.  She married Harold Toney on July 23, 1960 and they were together for 43 years until he passed on November 28, 2003. 

Bernadette is survived by her daughter Sandra (Ricky) Tolbert of Jerry City; son Steven (Missy) Toney of Perrysburg; brother Michael (Florine) Marciniak; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.  Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Florence; husband Harold; brothers: David Meller; Robert Marciniak; and sister Debbie Castello. Bernadette worked at St. Thomas More in Bowling Green for 20 years.  She was a member and active at the Wayne Church of Christ.  She was also very active in the Ohio Child Conservation League of Jerry City.  She will be dearly missed.

Memorial contributions in Bernadette’s honor may be gifted to the Wayne Church of Christ 101 W South St, Wayne, OH 43466. Visitation for Bernadette will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of her funeral at 1:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home 1460 W Wooster Street, Bowling Green, OH 43402.  Burial will immediately follow at the Jerry City Cemetery.
