Fred “Bill” Hollenbaugh, 75, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away September 14, 2019. His family was by his side as he began his journey to be with our heavenly Father. Bill was born to the James and Violet (Wolfe) Hollenbaugh in Shelby, Ohio on October 21, 1943.
Bill is survived by his children: Shane (Jody) Hollenbaugh and Peggy (Robert) Johnson; brother: Robert (Jessica) Hollenbaugh; grandchildren: Jerica, Aubree, Tarryn, & Kinzly Hollenbaugh; and Logan & Lia Johnson.
Bill was a member of the Knights of Pythias and a former member of the Freewill Baptist Church in the south. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Bill loved all animals and always had horses, dogs, and a variety of pets. He loved the outdoors and especially going camping as well as traveling. Bill’s greatest love was his family and especially his grandchildren. He loved to watch his grandchildren play sports and listen to their games on the radio. Bill will be greatly missed by his family.
Services for Bill will be private for the family. Services have been entrusted with the Wright-Hanneman Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Ohio.
The family asked in Lieu of flowers that donations can be made in Bill’s memory to either the Liberty Center Athletic Boosters or the American Diabetes Association.
