Tim Sterling

Timothy G. "Tim" Sterling, 77, of Findlay passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home.

Tim was born on July 24, 1942 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Nelson and Verna (Fry) Sterling. He married the love of his life Louann Tiell on June 14, 1962 at the St. Wendlin Catholic Church in Fostoria, Ohio and she survives in Findlay. Also surviving are his children Matt Sterling of Arcadia and Lorrie Rinehart of Findlay, two grandchildren, a brother Patrick Sterling of Fostoria and his canine companion Maddie.

Tim was a graduate of Fostoria High School where he played in the concert and pep band. Tim was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Findlay as well as the Elks Lodge in Findlay. Tim enjoyed fishing, camping especially spending time at Van Buren State Park.  He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.

Visitation for Tim will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 2:00-7:00 PM in the HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Tim’s funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery.
