Xavier Eaton Obituary

Xavier Allan Eaton, 11, of McComb was called to be with the angels in heaven after a courageous battle with CGD on Tuesday November 26, 2019, a few days after receiving his second Bone Marrow Transplant at the Mott Children's Hospital.

Xavier was born in Findlay, Ohio to Malcolm Wehrle and Sarah Eaton and the both survive in McComb. Also surviving are his sisters Maisie, Chloey and a brother Marshall; grandparents Betzy and Steve McMaster of Tiffin, Mike and Kim Eaton of Findlay and Shawna and David Wehrle of Russell Point; great-grandparents: Jim and Bev McMaster, Ann Hildreth, Sue Boden and Verla and Dickie Bocik, a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his canine companions Rudy, Ricky Bobby and Minnie as well as his feline companions KitKat and Twix. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Robert “Papa” Hildreth.

Xavier was currently a fifth grader at McComb Local Schools where he enjoyed math, art and going to the library. He was an avid Panther fan who loved attending the football games and hoped one day playing for them and going to the University of Michigan to become a Wolverine.  Xavier loved riding his bike spending time with his family, especially his “GWA” and “PA”. Xavier had a heart of gold, an affectious smile and loved everyone he met. Even though his time on Earth was short, everyone he came in contact became a better person after meeting Xavier.
