Andrew Jeremy Solt

Andrew "Drew" Jeremy Solt, 51, of Findlay, Ohio, beloved son of Jerry Solt (deceased) and Marylyn Solt, passed away of Monday, April 14, 2025.  Andrew was born on February 16, 1974.  He spent most of his life in and around Findlay.  He is survived by his mother, Marylyn Solt, and his sister, Lara Solt, brother-in-law, Michael Hamtil, niece and nephew, Josie Solt Hamitil and Theo Solt Hamtil, and many cousins and friends.

Andrew's gift was compassion, for man or animal - anyone needing help or a home.  He loved anything with a motor and speed.  He was very good at racing go-carts at the Solt Speedway, but also enjoyed flagging the races.  He was always so thoughtful of new young carters just starting out.  Drew especially prized his beautiful "cherry red" Harley and kept it immaculate.  He often did "runs" with a group to support someone in need.  He had many friends who were like family to him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 2:00-4:00PM in the fellowship hall, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4PM, in the sanctuary, both at the Good Shepherd Church of Benton Ridge, Ohio, with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. The Celebration of Life Service will be followed by supper, and an additional time to share your memories of Drew.  Contributions in Drew's memory may be shared with the Good Shepherd Church, Benton Ridge, the City Mission, Findlay, or Bridge Hospice, Findlay.  HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, Ohio, has been graciously entrusted with Drew's care.  Online condolences may be shared with his family at hannemanfuneralhomes.com.
