Andrew "Andy" Genson

Andrew "Andy" Genson, age 46, passed away on January 5, 2025. 

Andy was a fun loving, go with the flow, do almost anything for a laugh guy. Andy's passions in life centered around sports and traveling. He would spend weekends cheering on Ohio State  and then being disappointed, yet again, by the Browns. He loved nothing more than the times he was playing a round of golf or a game of hockey with his friends.

Andy was born in Columbus, OH to Timothy (Tim) Genson and Maribeth (Brigman) Genson, and they survive him. Andy married Erica (Shank) Genson on August 18, 2002, the same month and date as both his parents and maternal grandparents. They have two children Connor and Corinne Genson.

Other remaining family members include: his brother, Pete (Samantha) Genson and their children Calvin and Birdie Genson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles Genson, Chloe Genson, Bill Brigman and Mary Brigman.

Contributions in his honor may be gifted to Haskins Community Church.

Visitation for Andy will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W Wooster Street, Bowling Green. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Jennifer Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill cemetery, concluding with a luncheon at Haskins Community Church.
