Anna M. (Barwolf) Whipps

Anna M. Whipps, 94, of Jenera, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2026, just 5 days short of her 95th birthday, at Serenity Springs Senior Living in Arlington, Ohio. She was born on February 21, 1931 in Wiesbaden, Germany and came to the United States in 1957 with her family. Anna escaped from Nazi. Germany, having been confined in different camps from 1942-1945.

Anna is survived by her children: Rose Hosafros, Angela Reeves, Patrick Teta, David (Mary) Teda, and Debra Eckerd; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and previous husbands, Anthony Teda, Patterson Whipps, and Willis Green.

She was known for her strong work ethic and worked until age 72. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
