Arline C (Kowalski) Bucksky

Arline C. Bucksky, 82, our beloved Mother and Grandmother, passed away on July 19, 2024 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, most recently residing at Brookdale.

Arline was born May 15, 1942 in Toledo, OH to Roman and Frances (Zaleski) Kowalski. She married Stanley B. Bucksky on April 11, 1975 in Weston, OH. She graduated from Woodward High School in Toledo, OH. She previously worked for Parkview Hospital, Sheller Globe Corp., Weston Public Library, and BGSU Dining Services where she retired as a cook. Aline was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She was very proud of her Polish heritage and loved polka and square dancing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley B. Bucksky in 2015, son Stanley W. Bucksky, and foster daughter Jackie Meyers. She is survived by daughters Diane Bucksky of Weston, OH, Lori (Dennis) Gaster of Bowling Green, OH and Patti (Todd) Gorrill of Colorado Springs, CO, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green. Arline's funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Aloysuis Catholic Church 150 S. Enterprise Street. Those unable to attend the funeral mass in person is will be livestreamed via St. Aloysius Funeral Mass.  Internment will immediately follow in Weston Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Arline's name to Weston Public Library or Wood County Humane Society in honor of her love for pets.
