Barbara Ann Lovell, 92, of Leipsic, formerly of McComb, passed away on October 20, 2024, at The Meadows of Leipsic. She was born on March 6, 1932, in Findlay Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Neumann) Myers. Both parents have preceded her in death. On January 7, 1949 she married LeRoy C. Lovell, and he passed away on April 1, 2002.
Barb was a parishioner at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Findlay, until she moved to Leipsic. She was in retail sales, having worked at JC Penney, and Cookie Mart. She loved to camp, play cards, was a member of the “Red Hat Sorority,” and she knitted and crocheted to pass the time, and made some wonderful things with her skill. She adored her family, and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Surviving Barb are her children, Tom (Liz) Lovell of McComb, Terry (Deb) Lovell, of McComb, and Laura (Mark) Allinder, of Continental. She has 6 grandchildren, Todd (Kristen Fremont) Lovell, Trent (Jamie) Lovell, Tiffany (Nate) Riker, Terrah (Kevin) Hensley, Brian (Stephanie) Huff, and Angela (Matthew) Dillon, 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is her Special Friend, Bernard “Bump” Fleck, and her K-9 Companion, Bruiser. She was preceded in death by her sister; Mary Keyes, her brothers; Richard Myers and James Myers; brother-in-law; David Keyes, and two sisters-in-law; Mary Ellen Myers and Katy Myers.
Friends may call at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 S. Park Dr., McComb OH, on Saturday October 26, 2024, from 11am-1pm, with a service officiated by Deacon Michael Eier. Her cremated remains will be interred at a later date, at McComb Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Findlay, or to J.A.R.-Justice Animal Rescue in Grover OH.
