Berdine (Carter) Parish

Berdine (Bea) Mary Parish of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday October 4, 2024 in the comfort of her daughter's home. 

Bea was born in Norwalk, OH February 1, 1936 to the late Mabel (March) and George Carter. She met Larry Parish and they married on January 20, 1966. Larry preceded her in death on May 17, 1972.

Bea was the proud and devoted mother of four children who survive her: Sherry (Charlie) Stroup of Fremont, Scott Parish of Fremont, Vicki (Chris) Timmons of Fremont, and Craig (Sharon) Parish of Jackson Georgia. Also surviving Bea are her grandchildren: Dustin Stroup, Katie Stroup, Claire Timmons, Carter Timmons, Brianna Parish and Brandon Parish. And one great grandchild Layla Stroup.

Bea was preceded in death by siblings James Carter and Marilyn Rhineberger.

Bea graduated from Norwalk St. Paul's high school in 1954. Her greatest interests were spending quality time with her grandchildren, going to lunch with her friends and she enjoyed baking pies on the weekend.

Bea was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where over the years she could be found volunteering in the school cafeteria, in the classrooms, or at the other fundraisers such as the festival. She was also a member of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament Division 11. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday October 11, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH with an hour of gathering prior to Mass at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice in memory of Bea.
