Carol Wilson, 84, of Lima, passed away on October 12, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 30, 1940, in Bluffton, Ohio, to the late Marvin and Alice (Reeder) Bartz.
Carol was a proud graduate of Columbus Grove High School. After graduation, she worked in retail and dedicated over 30 years of her life to Kmart. She was also proud to be a part of the Salvation Army Church. Above all, Carol was happiest when spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Jenny (Michael Paris) Fox and Kathy (Dennis) Valenti; her grandchildren, Sean Williams, Brian Williams, Joshua Paris, Miranda Paris, Noah Paris, Shanna Valenti, Alisha Valenti, Murat Akkoc, Jodi (Heath) Davis, and Tracey (Jerry) Brock; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jim (Jackie) Bartz.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Wilson; her daughter, Lindy Williams; and her siblings, Margaret Hitchcock, Gayle Bartz, Tom Bartz, and David Bartz.
A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Road, Lima, Ohio 45805. Burial will follow at Shawnee Township Cemetery in Lima, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s honor to the Salvation Army.
