Caydyn Eagleton, 13, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away October 8, 2020 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Caydyn was born on June 4, 2007 in Mesa, Arizona to Timothy Eagleton and Britni Williams.
Caydyn is survived by his mother Britni, father Timothy; stepfather: Justin Kepling; his four sisters: Korah, Sylah, Airah, and Kya; and a host of loving grandparents and family. Caydyn was preceded in death by his grandmother Carol and cousin Deputy Jake Calvin.
Caydyn was known for his generous heart, compassion, gentleness, and was full of life and love to everyone. He was a sweetheart to everyone, melted the hearts of many and was described as “an Angel here on Earth” with a brightness around him. Caydyn was always full of life, full of energy, and had a bright smile that lifted everyone’s spirits. He loved to be around other kids, especially babies and was a fierce protector of his sisters. Caydyn enjoyed playing Minecraft and Fortnite along with other card games. He loved to dance, use finger skateboards and scooters. He had many pets but his favorite was a lime green chameleon whom he named Summer. Caydyn could ride a bike without training wheels when he was 2 and was soon riding dirt bikes after that. He like to watch YouTube videos of Tanner Fox and even got a shout out from him in one of his videos. His ultimate goal was to be famous and he enjoyed singing and posting videos on YouTube. Caydyn donated DNA from his tumors to use in medical research to help find a cure for his rare form of cancer. He wanted to continue to help others. His battle message written by a fellow cancer warrior he lived by was: “Rise from the flames, Shake off the ashes & SOAR.” Caydyn will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation for Caydyn will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 3:00 -8:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 302 E. Maple Street, Liberty Center, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow in Young Cemetery. Caydyn’s funeral service will be live-streamed on the Hanneman Funeral Home- Grand Rapids & Liberty Center Facebook page. Due to COVID-19, everyone attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear a mask.
