**Obituary for Chad Lee Reed**
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chad Lee Reed, who left us peacefully on July 22, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on March 13, 1973, in Crestline, Ohio, Chad was a proud resident of Sycamore, where he lived a life filled with hard work and dedication.
Chad was a talented Union Journeyman Pipefitter and former electrician, known for his expertise in the pipeline industry, working thoroughly with Local 798 and formerly Boes-Gosche. His craftsmanship and work ethic made him a respected figure among his peers, and he took great pride in his trade.
He is survived by his beloved son, Wyatt Reed and best friend Molly Reed, who carries on Chad's spirit and love of life. He also leaves behind his sister, Deb Boes, and brother-in-law, Paul Boes, as well as his niece, Abby Boes, and nephew, Eric Boes. Chad's family was everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent together.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date, where everyone who knew and loved Chad can come together to share stories, laughter, and memories.
Chad will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his warm heart, quick wit, and the impact he had on everyone around him.
Chad was preceded in death by his parents Ronald Reed & Judy Reed
