Charles Donaldson

Charles A. (Charlie) Donaldson went home to be with his Savior on August 1, 2024. Charlie was born November 22, 1950, to Leota and Ernest Donaldson, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Donaldson, and a nephew, Jeff Donaldson.

On June 27, 1981, he married Judith Martin, and she survives. Charlie and Judi had 43 blessed and happy years together. 

In addition to his adoring wife, Charlie also leaves behind two stepdaughters, Jennifer (Jim Elsea) Cataline and Jodi (Tim Hillard) Kraus; a granddaughter, Raye Ann (Zach Bernhard) Kraus; a great-granddaughter, Adeline Pauline Bernhard; a sister, Lottie (Jim) Pixley; a brother, Roy (Janet) Donaldson; and several nieces and nephews. 

Charlie graduated from McComb High School in 1968. He then served in the Ohio National Guard. His work history included Crushproof Tubing in McComb and a supervisory position at GSW Manufacturing in Findlay, from which he retired after 27 years of dedicated service. 

Arrangements are being handled by Hanneman Funeral Home in McComb, Ohio. There will be no visitation, as we are having a private family ceremony. Charlie will be buried in the McComb Union Cemetery. He will be deeply missed by his adoring wife.
