Charles E. "Chuck" Fausey

Charles E “Chuck” Fausey, 71, of Fremont passed away Saturday May 21, 2022 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

Chuck was born in Fremont, Ohio on June 9, 1950 to the late Frank and Patricia (Garn) Fausey. He married Ladonna “Kay” Sheider on November 28, 1970 in the Pleasant Ridge Church in Tiffin, Ohio and she preceded him in death on June 7, 2019. Chuck is survived by his children; Jason (Stephanie) Fausey, of Tiffin, Ohio and Jyl (Bob) Atighechi, of Glastonbury, Connecticut; grandchildren; Sidney, Skylar, Lizzie, Sophia, George, Mitra, and Kiyan, and sister: Charlotte (Gary) Cole of Tiffin.

Chuck was a 1968 graduate of Old Fort High School and enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was working on his family farm, fishing, snowmobiling and was an avid collector of John Deere toys. Chuck loved spending time at the race track. Chuck was a member of the Fort Seneca Community Church.  Most of all Chuck loved his family. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events and cherished the time he spent with them.

A Memorial Tribute in Chuck’s honor will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Youth Center, Building #25 of the Seneca County Fairgrounds, Tiffin, Ohio 44883. A time of sharing will begin at 5:30 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, Ohio 43420.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be gifted in Chuck’s honor to Fort Seneca Community Church, 5661 N. State Route 53, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.
