Dallas Roy Rader, 62, a beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at The Heritage. He was born May 12, 1963, in Findlay, Ohio to the late Noble and Janelle Rader, and was a 1981 graduate of McComb High School and of Bowling Green State University.
Dallas enjoyed attending Bible studies and was a faithful member of the McComb Church of Christ, where he had served as church treasurer and sang in the church choir. Music played a meaningful role throughout his life. He was a proud member of the BGSU Men's Chorus and sang with the Voices of Harmony barbershop group where he enjoyed both the harmony and fellowship it brought. Dallas also found great joy in life's simple pleasures - cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, listening to music, watching his collection of DVD's, shopping for treasures at garage sales, especially comic books and Star Trek memorabilia, and played fantasy football in the Rader Family league, winning multiple Super Bowl titles.
Above all else, Dallas cherished his family, especially game nights. He enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews which naturally extended to his great-nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his gentle spirit, loyal heart, but mostly for his bad puns.
Dallas is survived by his sisters Debbie Edel (Jay), Diane Watson (Craig) and Dauri Shank (Randy), his brother David (Nan) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother Doug (Patrice).
A celebration of life will be held at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Drive South McComb, Ohio, 45858, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 1:00 with Pastor Craig Watson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to a church of the donor's choice. Online condolences and memories may be shared with Dallas's family at hannemanfuneralhomes.com.
