David Eugene Howe, 77, of Findlay, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Birchaven Village under the care of Bridge Hospice. He was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on November 25, 1947, to the late Norman and Eleanor (Knettle) Howe-Funk. He married his wife, Pamela (Tussing), on September 20, 1970, and she survives.
David was a graduate of the McComb High School Class of 1965. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Sherwin Williams Corporation in Deshler, and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family. David was an assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 308 in Findlay, and a Scoutmaster of Troop 68 in Deshler. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and camping, and his dog, Champ.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his two sons: Brian (Tabbatha) Howe and Bradley Howe, a sister, Cynthia Howe; and a step-sister, Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Eleanor; his step-father, Carl Funk; a brother, Roger Howe; and step-sisters: Karen and Barb.
Visitation for David will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM, until the time of a funeral service at 1:30 PM, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 South Park Drive, McComb, Ohio 45858. Burial will follow at Milton Township Cemetery, Custar Ohio . Donations in David's memory may be shared with The Wounded Warrior Project or the Howe family in care of Hanneman Funeral Home.
