Deana Hanthorn

Deana Hanthorn, 63, of Lima, passed away on September 21, 2024 at 11:22 pm, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born on May 21, 1961, in Lima, the daughter of Richard R. and Delores (Lybold) Hanthorn. Both parents preceded her in death. 

Deana had retired from Medical Records at Lima Memorial Hospital. A football enthusiast, she loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes every Saturday. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with her family and friends, sometimes out at the Orioles and other times just at home playing cards. She loved a good TV show and enjoyed watching many different ones with her daughter, Codi. Her grandson Jamie was her pride and joy, and she loved him very much. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. 

Surviving Deana are her daughter, Codi (Bryce) Hinegardner, of Liberty Center, OH: Her brothers; Richard D. Hanthorn, and Daniel (Anna) Hanthorn, both of Lima, and her grandson; James D. Hinegardner. 

Friends may call at HANNEMAN-SIFERD FUNERAL HOME  506 N. Cable Rd., Lima Ohio 45805, on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 11am-1pm with a short service to be officiated by Pastor Warren Clifton.
