Dennis Dwayne Shaw

Dennis Dwayne Shaw, 76, of Lima, passed away on February 21, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Lima, on September 15, 1947, to Roger and Dora (Gross) Shaw. Both parents preceded him in death.

Dennis was retired as a Pipefitter from the Lima Refinery. Dennis was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, but his true joy in life was watching his grandchildren participate in sports. He was a family man, he loved his children and grandchildren very much. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter; Beth (Scott) Graham of Elida, his grandchildren; Brayden Lybarger, Colton Graham and Lacey Graham. His siblings include; Jeff Shaw of Lima, Doug (Jeanne) Shaw of Waynesfield, Barbara (Gary) Hickerson of Sidney, and Jill Vetter of Lima.

There will be no funeral or visitation, as per Dennis’s wishes, but he will be entombed at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
