Diane Hoffman, 71, of Lima passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. Diane was born In Lima, Ohio on July 19,1950 to the late Jessie and Geneveria (Hall) Ramsey.
Diane is survived by her husband of 42 years, John R. Hoffman. She is also survived by her sister Virginia Browning, sister-in-law Dolly Ramsey, sister-in-law Elisabeth (Robert) Dickinson, brother-in-law Marc (Lora) Hoffman, nephews Nikolaus Wendling, Derek Wendling, Walter Marc Hoffman Jr., Justin Hoffman, Steve (Cristen) Ramsey, Russell (Fabi) Ramsey, niece Laura (Gary) Dipnarine and many grand nieces and nephews. Also surviving are cousins Tom (Linda) Hollenbacher, Roy (Ruth) Hollenbacher and Judy (Bud) Poling. Her brother Bill Ramsey preceded her in death.
Diane was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Bluffton, Ohio and a member of the Lima Power Squadron.
Diane loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed boating and fishing with John. She and John spent time traveling, camping and off roading. Diane was known for her love of cooking and often catered for the family business. Diane was quick witted with a lot of humor.
Diane graduated from Bath High School and became a registered nurse. She started her nursing career in pediatrics and loved working with children. She retired from Lima Memorial Health Systems as a house supervisor in 2009. Diane battled serious health issues for many years - always with optimism, grace and courage.

Visiting hours will be Friday April 15, from 6-8 pm and Saturday, April 16 from noon to 2 pm with service at 2:00 pm at Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home; 506 N. Cable Road, Lima, Ohio 45805. Pastor Jeremy Mann, St Johns United Church of Christ of Bluffton will conduct the service.
