Donald J Brogan

Donald J Brogan “Don”, 87, of Bowling Green passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. He was born on June 18, 1932 to Oscar and Ona (Ashenfelter) Brogan in Weston, Ohio. He married Betty Jane (Kelly) Brogan in 1952 and were married for 65 year until Betty passed away on September 6, 2017.

Don is survived by his son Michael (Rhonda) Brogan of Bowling Green; daughter Stephanie Brogan (David Richards) of Del City, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Courtney (Jeff) Hammond of Petersburg, MI; Patrick Iffland of Rossford; Nora Brogan, & McKenna Brogan both from Bowling Green. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty. Don was one of 13 children, his brothers Glen and Jay also preceded him in death.

Don served our country in the United States Navy then went on to become a barber in Bowling Green.  He was a barber at Appointment Barbershop over 50 years.

A Celebration of Life reception for Don will be on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 13101 Five Point Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be gifted to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
