Donald Hemminger, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, at the age of 79. He was born on October 1, 1946 to the late James and Violet (Smith) Hemminger.
He is survived by his daughters, Donielle Tussing and Robin Coe King (Jeffery), as well as his siblings: Billie Jean Richards, Bethann Lueke (Deke), and Jim Hemminger . Donald was a proud grandfather to many grandchildren. He lived the last 20 years with his daughter Donielle and 3 granddaughters Chayce, Camryn, and Carsyn Tussing. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Violet, his devoted wife, Florence, his sons, Barry Coe and Toby Hemminger, and a brother Jim Hemminger.
Donald graduated from Otsego High School in 1965. He had a lifelong love for animals and sports, spending countless days on the golf course, where he finally achieved the coveted hole-in-one. He was also avid bowler and a participant in numerous softball leagues, Those who knew him understood he was truly one of a kind.
A graveside service will Military Honors will take place on May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Milton Township Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place at a date to be determined.
