Edward Keith “Ed” Adams, 68, of Findlay, passed away on October 6, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on August 25, 1956, the son of Eldon Adams and Helen (VanSickle) Dishong. Both parents preceded him in death. His long time significant other, Dawn Abell, survives in Findlay.
Ed was a Maintenance person at Paper Tech in Findlay, retiring from there. He was an avid Harley rider, and rode quite a bit with his group of friends and fellow bike enthusiasts. He was also a fisherman, was an Ohio State Fan, and was a Miami Dolphins fan since the 70s glory days. He was an all-around sports lover, and followed his teams loyally. He’ll be missed by his fellow riders, family and friends.
In addition to Dawn, Edward is survived by his sister; Sheri (Adams) Keeney, of Erie, MI, and his brother; David (Sherrie) Adams of Lakeview, OH., and his nieces and nephews; Shade Ross Keeney, and Krista Sliwka, and also a great-nephew; Tristan Keeney. A niece Schyler Keeney, preceded him in death.
At a later date, to honor Ed’s memory, he’ll take one last ride with his friends to various points, it’s what he wanted them to do for him. If you’re a rider, please come out and join the guys for a last ride for Ed, and enjoy the air and some fellowship. His family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life for him at a later date as well.
