Evelyn Nagel Obituary

Evelyn M. Nagel of Attica, Ohio passed away on July 23, 2020, just one week shy of her 103rd birthday. She was born in Melmore, Ohio to the late Vernon J. and Anita Angene King on July 30, 1917. Her husband, Frederick L. Nagel Sr. preceded her in death on April 25, 2001.

Survivors are a daughter and son in-law Virginia and Tony Predieri of Attica, a son and daughter in-law Frederick (Yogi) and Donna Nagel of Huron, and a son-in-law David Thompson of Attica. A daughter, Anita Thompson, preceded her in death on January 29, 2020.

Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and one sister, Mary Zellner of Chillicothe, OH, formerly of Bloomville.

Also preceding her in death are her parents, one sister, five brothers and one grandchild.

Mrs. Nagel was a member of the Attica Baptist Church, the American Legion Auxillary and Just Friends Club. She was employed by the Attica Pioneer Rubber Company for 30 years.

There will be no calling hours. A family only graveside service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 2:00PM. Burial will take place in the Attica-Venice Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Baptist Church, or the Seneca East Public Library, in Attica.
