**Obituary for Ida Marie Garza**
Ida Marie Garza, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born on December 3, 1952, in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she spent her life surrounded by family and friends who cherished her warm spirit and love for life.
Ida was a dedicated caregiver, known for her nurturing heart and dedication as a nanny and day care worker. Over the years, she lent her talents to several local institutions, including the Community Nursing Home, Dold's Family, First United Methodist, and All About the Kids, where she also worked as a dietary service manager and cook. Her passion for caring for others was evident in everything she did.
Ida graduated from Eastwood High School and later completed her GED at Penta County Adult Education, showing her commitment to lifelong learning. She loved exploring and traveled throughout the U.S., creating cherished memories along the way.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ramon; her children, Rose Ketcham and Ray Garza; her grandchildren Olethia, Mario, and Ray Jr. ("RC"); a great-grandchild, Alex; and siblings Susanna Clark, Herman Glenn, and Dallas Glenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Marceine (Moser) Glenn; two brothers; and her granddaughter, Marcella.
Services will be private to honor her wishes.
Ida will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
