Jacqueline “Jackie” Fox, 58, of Lima, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her residence. She was born on April 9, 1965, in Lower Bucks County, PA to Frank Rowan-Fox Sr and Dorothy (Tomes) Rowan-Fox. Her parents have preceded her in death.
Jacqueline was the CEO of West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) and was a tireless advocate for economically disadvantaged people in this area. She was a regular fixture on Lima’s radio and TV stations, and made known the programs and places to get the help needed for folks in need of assistance. She will be sorely missed by many in this community. She lived the Bible verse, “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that, you do unto me.” She was a true community servant.
Jackie is survived by her daughters; Pamela ( Fiancé’, Cory Dukes) Sims of Lima, Tomica Sims of Lima. Her siblings include; Roxanne Fox of Lima, Susanne (Wilson) Rodriguez of Trenton NJ, Lorraine (Irwin) Andrews of Trenton NJ, Matthew (Sue) Fox of Trenton NJ, and Frank Fox Jr of North Carolina. Her grandchildren are; Jeremiah, Zayden, Arianna, Michael, Shavinna, Shire, Madeline, Mary, Charles “Chuckie,” and one great grandchild; Neveah. Step daughters; Arnesia (Brian) Cooke-Murphy of Columbus, and Talayah Cooke of Columbus, and a step-son: Ralph Cooke of Columbus. Jackie’s nieces and nephews include; Angelo, David, Rachel, Ashlee, Teresa, Stephanie, Will, Brian, Krissy, Katherine, Kimberly, and Vanessa. Jacqueline was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Fox.
Friends may call at HANNEMAN-SIFERD FUNERAL HOME, 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima Oh 45805, on Saturday, August 26, 2023. From 12 noon -2pm, with a 2 o’clock service, officiated by Pastors Levi Collins and Rev. Dr. B. Lamont Monford Sr.. There will be a private interment of her cremated remains at a later date convenient to her family.
