James J Thomas

Mr. James (Jim ) Thomas Jr was called home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2024. He was born in Detroit, MI on December 21,1950 from the Union of the late James Thomas Sr. and Ola Mae Thomas Armstead.

 Brother of Edward Glen Thomas, Ronnie Gaston, Lisa Armstead, Aaron Thomas, Johnie (Nadeen) Armstead, Darnille Armstead and Kayleen (Willie) Watkins.

 He loved driving around visiting family often making it just in time for lunch; enjoyed writing about his life experiences. He attended Changing Seasons Outreach Program, where he played bingo and talked with others there. James attended AA meetings faithfully even though he didn't drink. JAMES THOMAS was a "MAN ON A MISSION"

He was preceded in death by a sister Shirley (Lamar) McDowell, Two brothers; Eugene (Tammy) Gene-bo Burks and  Ronnie Gaston. He leaves to cherish memory his loving family, alongside his significant other ( Shirl George); special niece Shonda Thomas as well as A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

On Friday, September 13, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm friends may call at HANNEMAN-SIFERD FUNERAL HOME, 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima, Ohio 45805, to share memories of James. A service will be held at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Arnold Manley.
