James David Mason

James "Dave" Mason, 90, of Bowing Green, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020. He was born on September 3, 1929 to the late Clarence and Violet (Frank) Mason in Rudolph, Ohio. He married Corine "Joyce" Taylor, and they were married until she passed away in 1992.

Dave is survived by his best friend Barbra Damm of Kingsville, Ontario; his children: James L. (Donna) Mason of Wyoming, Delaware; Diann Mason of Bowling Green, Ohio; Mary Lou (Frank) Weasel of Wayne, Ohio; David L.(Lavon) Mason of Columbus, Ohio; Joyce Ann Nunnikhoven of Tolleson, Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, a great-granddaughter Danielle Mason, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Dave graduated from Liberty High School. He worked as a mechanic for Libby Owens Ford for over 40 years. He had a passion for computers, and enjoyed traveling everywhere.

Memorial contributions in Dave's honor may be gifted to any organization of the donor's choice.

A Celebration of Life Service for Dave will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home 1460 W. Wooster Street Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. The service will stream live via the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home Facebook page for those unable to attend in person and wish to join in celebrating Dave's life. A Private Interment will be held at Highland Memory Gardens.
