Halm (affectionately known as "Mouse") and Mary Ann Recktenwald Halm, John lived a life dedicated to family, community, and service.
A proud graduate of Saint Joseph High School in 1974, John was an active and valued member of the school's golf team. His early commitment to hard work and leadership would guide him throughout his career. After high school, John began his professional journey at Croghan Colonial Bank, where he started as a teller and rose through the ranks to management. His career continued to flourish as he took on the role of employee and director of Clyde Savings Bank in 1980. In 1989, John took a leap of faith and established his own financial consulting business, John T. Halm, CFP, which he grew into the successful firm Pinnacle Capital Management, LLC in 2005.
John's passion for helping others extended beyond the world of finance. He was a devout member of Saint Joseph Parish, and previously Clyde St. Mary's where he served on the Parish Council, Finance Council, and the Knights of Columbus. His commitment to service extended to the Heart Association and the Clyde Exchange Club, where he continued to make a difference in his community.
