John Steen Obituary

John A. Steen, 50, of McComb, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020, at the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

John was born on June 25, 1970 in Bluffton, Ohio to David and Janet (Sterrett) Steen, and they survived in McComb. He married Michelle Niese on June 28, 1997 in Ottawa, Ohio, and she survives in McComb. Also surviving are his children: Cody Steen, Zack Hinshaw and Mercedes Steen, 6 grandchildren, sisters: Mary (Mike) Meyer-Miller and Jamie (Jason) Gill and many nieces and nephews.

John obtained his Masters degree in Computer Science and enjoyed playing a good game of pool, video games and working on computers. He enjoyed fishing and when he retired, John wanted to live by the water. John was a jokester and loved his family dearly.

A Private service will be held in John’s honor.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman Funeral Home, McComb.

Memorial contributions may be gifted in John’s honor to Mercedes Steen c/o Hanneman Funeral Homes to go towards her college education.
