Judy Burns

Judy Burns 79, of Findlay passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

Judy was born on September 9, 1940 in Lima, Ohio to the late Woodrow and Wynona (Moran) Brown. She married Everett L. Burns Sr on December 27, 1958 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2002. Judy is survived by her children: Everett (Kay) Burns Jr of Maumee, David (Lisa) Burns and Deborah (Tod) Cameron both of Findlay; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and sisters: Janet Nye and Sharon Caudill both of Fostoria. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Ronald and Gary Brown.

Judy was a graduate of Fostoria High School and was the head bank teller for Fifth Third Bank in Findlay.  She enjoyed vacationing in Michigan, cross country skiing, rollerblading and square dancing. She was an excellent baker and her family enjoyed her cookies and fudge. The most important part of Judy’s life was her family especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life and she cherished the time spent with them.      

Services for Judy will be private for her family with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.

Memorial contributions may be gifted in Judy’s honor to the Parkinson Foundation or to the Ronald McDonald House.
