Karen Sue (Myers) Pohlman, 61, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 5, 1964, to the late James and Donna (Barber) Myers.
Karen was strong-willed in the most genuine way - resilient, determined, and always ready to stand up for the people she loved or show them tough love when they needed it. As the proud mother of triplet boys, she poured her boundless energy into raising them with care, laughter, and purpose. Karen embodied commitment and devotion in everything she did, whether she was cheering from the sidelines of sporting events, organizing unforgettable family gatherings, or ensuring that no one ever felt forgotten on their birthday. To Karen, love was shown through action, and she showed it in abundance.
A proud Nana to her five grandsons, Karen found profound joy in watching them grow, sharing in their milestones, and celebrating their every achievement. She was a nurturing and playful presence in their lives, always ready with a warm hug, a wise word, a joke, or a plate full of their favorite treats.
Karen was a loyal friend who could always be counted on. Whether she was sharing laughter over a meal at Ko's Garden - her favorite Chinese restaurant - or bringing armfuls of food to every gathering, she had a unique way of making every moment feel special. She didn't just attend family events - she made sure they happened. She went the extra mile, every time, ensuring that her family remained close-knit and well-fed, not just in body but in spirit.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of nearly 37 years, Ken; children, Konnor (Anna) Pohlman, Kaleb (Nicole) Pohlman, and Kam (Brittany) Pohlman; grandchildren, Jonah, Theo, Murphy, and Graham; sisters, Linda (Mike) Cymbola and Denise Spangler. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her grandson, Finn Pohlman and brother-in-law, Jeff Spangler.
