Karl Sizemore

Karl Sizemore, 63, of Rainbow City, Alabama and formerly of Findlay passed away Friday, July 24, 2020.

Karl was born on February 24, 1957 in Eaton Town, New Jersey to Henry and Pauline (Goble) Sizemore. He is survived by his wife Karen Daniel Sizemore, and by his children: Mark Sizemore (Autumn) of Franklin, Tennessee; Wesley Sizemore of Attalla, Alabama; Travis Sizemore (Sarah Beth Carson) of Boulder City, NV; Dempsey and Caroline Birmingham of Rainbow City, Alabama; and his grandchildren: Mark Brecken and Charli Sizemore. He is also survived by his mother Pauline Sizemore and siblings: twin brother Kent (Julie) Sizemore; Dean (Bill) Snyder; Michael (Joan) Sizemore; and Jennifer Hammer, all of Findlay, Ohio. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Sizemore, Jr.

Karl earned Eagle Scout at age 16, graduated from Findlay High School in 1975 and later received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Bluffton University. Karl worked for Cooper Tire & Rubber for more than 30 years before relocating to Alabama where he was a Manager for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 9 years. Karl retired on July 23, 2020. He enjoyed traveling around the United States and being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and also had a passion for boating and carpentry. He loved the Lord, Jesus, and valued his Family more than life itself. His family was his greatest joy.

Visitation for Karl will be held on Friday, July, 31, 2020 from 10am until the time of his Celebration of Life Service at noon at Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave, Findlay, Ohio 45840. Interment will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery in Arcadia, Ohio. For those who are unable to attend, Karl’s service will be livestreamed on the Hanneman Funeral Home Findlay & McComb Facebook page.
