Karl Weaver

Karl Weaver, 62, of Attica, Ohio passed away September 11, 2021. Karl was born in Willard, Ohio on October 12, 1958 to the late Eldon and Helen (Kok) Weaver. He married Sandra Wise on August 28, 1981 at St. Peter & Paul Church and she survives.

Karl worked as an over the road truck driver for 46 years. He loved to be outdoors hunting deer and turkeys, playing golf, and cutting wood. Karl loved talking about farming to others. Family was very important to Karl and he loved the time he spent with everyone. He enjoyed watching his kids play sports as they grew up and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Karl is survived by his wife of 40 years Sandra; children Ted Weaver, Joe (Ashley) Weaver, Jill (Mark) Rudecki; grandchildren: Julius, Elijah, Isaiah, and Evelyn; sister Donna Mulder, and a host of loving family members.  Karl was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joy Marcusse, father-in-law Julius Wise, mother-in-law Irene Wise, and nephews David and Andy Bischoff.

Visitation for Karl will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 295 W. Tiffin Avenue, Attica, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 320 Stump Pike, Attica with interment to immediately follow in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed via https://www.ourladyofhopeattica.com and via the Hanneman Funeral Home – Willard & Attica Facebook page where the graveside service will be also be livestreamed. The family requests that everyone wears a mask for the visitation and funeral.

Memorial contributions in Karl’s honor may be gifted to Our Lady of Hope Church, the Seneca East Athletic Boosters, or the Attica Area Veteran’s Memorial Fund.
