Kevin Koch Obituary

Kevin Ray Koch, 69 of Liberty Center / Texas, Ohio was welcomed into his heavenly home on Saturday Sept 26, 2026. Kevin was born to Frank and Naomi Koch on June 27, 1957, in Napoleon, the second of five children.

Having accepted Jesus as his Savior early in life, Kevin genuinely appreciated those who helped him through difficult times, and he desired to be the hands and feet of Jesus to others. Kevin was faithful and active in his church over the years, currently Country Chapel Christian Union of rural Napoleon as well as Portage Holiness Camp. Kevin gave blood for years, totaling gallons, was involved with Gleaners, and simply lending a hand to someone in need. He was especially attentive to his mother, who lived nearby, after his father passed away.

Most of Kevin's career was as a school custodian and boiler operator. He also owned a seamless gutter business. He had passions for gardening plants, antiques and collectibles, singing, classic cars and red pick up trucks.

Kevin was a 1975 graduate of Liberty Center High School. He was married to Charlene until their divorce and they raised two children: Michael (Lindsey) Koch and Sarah (Adam) Petrucci who survive him.

Kevin is also survived by his siblings: Daniel (Sara) Koch, Marjorie (Craig) Buell, Susan (Douglas) Haase, and Mary (Dave) Schnabele, grandchildren: Micah and Maren Petrucci and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, His and Charlene's miscarried child, nephew Aaron Koch and sister-in-law Faith Koch.

Memorial contributions may be gifted to the Cherry Street Mission or Country Chapel Christian Union Church.
