LaRhonda Kay Herron

LaRhonda Kay Herron, 48, went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2022, at her residence,

surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on August 27, 1974, the daughter of James and Melba Simpson. She was preceded in death by her mother and niece Celeste Crowders. She was married to Calvin Davis on February 15, 2010.

She graduated from Elida High School class of 1992; she specialized in Administrative Secretarial Services at Apollo Career Center. LaRhonda was a Supervisor at Procter and Gamble, Lima Plant. She was previously employed in daycare and elderly services and was dedicated to being an uplifting spirit and source of comfort to anyone who needed it.

LaRhonda always had a helping hand out to someone in need. She was a true ball of fire and had boundless energy. She was selfless and had many great qualities, including her kindness; she always had an uplifting word for others, even in her illness. She loved fashion and enjoyed designing the interiors of homes; in fact, that was her passion. She also was a family woman and loved her boys as no other. She was strong in her faith in the Lord. Herron of Delphos, Melvin (Stephanie) Herron of Lima, Edward (Lexi) Herron of Lima, and Robert O. Simpson of Lima. Grandchildren include her grandsons; a beloved granddaughter, whom she cherished, and served a motherly role, Damyya Lanae Herron, Dazairis Herron, Dahyvion Campbell, and Diamonte Campbell. Additionally, she had 16 nieces and nephews and many friends and children, of whom she was an honorary aunt. Also, a godchild Kenkazia McGee, and best friends Toni and Angelica Conley.

Lima, Ohio 45805, on Wednesday, October5, 2022, from 1:pm to 3:00 pm, with a Homegoing Service to be held at 3 pm at the Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Dennis Ward. Memorial Contributions may be made to a trust which is being arranged for her grandchildren.
