Larry David Damron Jr.

Larry David Damron Jr., beloved husband, father, son, and devoted associate pastor, passed away on March 18, 2026, in Bowling Green, Ohio, at the age of 42. Born on February 16, 1984, in Warren, Michigan, Larry grew up in a family that instilled in him a strong faith and love for the Lord. He was the cherished son of Larry Sr. and Linda Damron. 

Larry attended Bowling Green High School, where he graduated in 2002, and further pursued his calling to the ministry by earning Bachelor of Theology at the Southern Bible Institute And Seminary, a Diploma of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Pastoral and Church Leadership from World Harvest Bible College. He served as an associate pastor at Faith Temple in Bowling Green, where he touched the lives of many and was known for his passion for preaching. Before becoming the associate pastor at Faith Temple, he traveled to Michigan and Canada to share his faith.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Roslyn, and their cherished son, Issac, his parents Larry Sr. and Linda Damron. Larry is also survived by his beloved mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rochelle and Brian Murray, as well as his brother Richard Murray and sister Kendra (Matt) Robinson. He is preceded in death by his uncles: William, Ron and Ralph Damron, Stanley and Robert Bittner.

In addition to his commitment to his faith, Larry enjoyed bowling and was a talented bass guitarist. A true sports enthusiast, he was a fan of all the Detroit professional teams, particularly the Lions, Tigers, and Pistons.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Larry's life. Public viewings will be held at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory on March 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on March 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will take place on March 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a committal service at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green

Larry's spirit and faith will continue to inspire those who knew him, and he will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace.
