Larry VanDenBerghe, 68, of Liberty Center passed away Friday, January 8, 2021.
Larry was born on February 6, 1952 to the late Arthur and Alice (Vermuelen) VanDenBerghe, and was a long time resident of Liberty Center. Larry is survived by his daughters Jo (Ron) Heinold of Waterville, Ohio and Randy (Scott) Baker of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; 4 grandsons, 6 granddaughters and brothers Pete and George VanDenBerghe. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Georgette, Godelieve, Rita, Henry and Albert.
Larry was very proud of his Belgian heritage. He played the harmonica, painted folk art, and had written many stories. He loved telling tales and excelled at playing games. He worked mostly in the masonry business and took on many challenging projects. Larry was very generous individual who liked to make people laugh and was very proud of his grandchildren.
Services will be announced at a later date.
