Laura E Charland

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Laura E. Charland, who left us on February 1, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on March 8, 1957, Laura lived a life filled with love, dedication, and compassion. She is survived by her beloved husband, Gary Charland, whom she married on March 22, 1986

Laura is also survived by her son, Ian Alan Charland; her sister, Nancy Endsley; and her brother-in-law, Tom Coriell. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Janet (Ford) Endsley, and her sister Jenny, who passed away at the young age of 38. Laura held a special place in her heart for her niece and nephews-Clark, Colin, and Lauren-often inviting them over for dinner multiple nights a week, ensuring they felt the love of family during difficult times.

A proud graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School, Laura earned a scholarship to the University of Mississippi School for Women, where she pursued her passion for English and communications. She later completed her undergraduate and master's degrees at Bowling Green State University. Her career culminated as a secretary to the Dean of Musical Arts, from which she retired on June 2, 2025.

In honoring Laura's wishes, there will be no formal service.
