While the essence of her smile is gone, and a rare excellent person has departed this life, Joan’s smile will always be with us. What a joy it has been to share this life with her.

They were also avid hockey fans, suffering through many games watching Heather and David trying to play in Findlay Men’s Hockey League, as well as watching the Columbus Blue Jackets. They also enjoyed the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings.
