Linda Allison Obituary

Linda Kay Allison, age 69, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday, June 9th, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, in Sandusky, Ohio.

Linda was born December 14th, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, to Raymond and Josephine Finco. She grew up in Cary, Illinois, and graduated from Cary-Grove High School. On July 14th, 1984, she married the love of her life, Terry Allison, at their home in Fremont, Indiana. She worked for many years as a stockbroker for Gregory, Zent and Swanson, Inc. in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Together, she and Terry, along with their children, enjoyed living the lake life in Clear Lake, Indiana, before relocating to Fort Myers Beach, Florida. While there, they were active members of Beach Baptist Church, and enjoyed volunteering at the Choice Market food pantry. Upon retiring, they moved to Holiday Lakes, in Willard, Ohio, where they could be closer to their children and new grandson, so that he could grow up experiencing life on the lake as well. Linda proudly donated her time and office skills at Teen Challenge, a Christian-based recovery center for women, where she made many lasting friendships.

Linda treasured time spent with family and friends, and loved playing cards, games, boating and the beach. She and Terry truly enjoyed doing home renovations and traveling in their RV together. She was easy going, yet lived life on her own terms. She was the life of the party, and her beautiful smile and spunky personality lit up the room! She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her!

She is survived by her husband, Terry; her daughter, Christy Heine (Corey Martin); daughter-in-law, Carla (Devin) Roush; stepchildren, Trina Abrams and Dennis Allison; siblings, Rick (Chris) Sommers, Teri (Alan) Atchison, Kevin Crossley; nieces, Kary Sommers and Diane Brokaw; and her beloved grandson, Brayden Roush.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Josephine and Russ Crossley; and son, Brian Heine.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 15th, from 3 p.m. until the memorial service at 5 p.m., at Hanneman Funeral Home, 323 Myrtle Ave., in Willard.
