Linda Sue (Kern) Sharninghouse

Linda Sue Sharninghouse, 73, of Findlay, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on July 24, 1947 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Gerald and Betty (Radabaugh) Kern. Linda married David Wayne Sharninghouse on August 5, 1967 in the St. John's Lutheran Church in McComb and he survives in Findlay. Also surviving are her children: John (Amy) Sharninghouse of Findlay and Lori (Shawn) McDaniel of Findlay; grandchildren: Kimberly (Dustin) Weaver, Kaylee (Deryk) Sammet, Kannon Sharninghouse, Brice and Heidi McDaniel; great-grandchildren: Atticus, Alister, Elliot and two on the way and a brother Gerald (Mary) Kern of Findlay. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Terry and Jerry Kern and a great-grandaughter Logan Sammet.

Linda was 1965 graduate of Findlay High School and attended State Beauty Academy and received her cosmetologist licenses. She was a faithful member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in McComb. Linda was a loving, compassionate, and caring individual, who always put her family first. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, crafting, and sewing. Linda was an avid University of Findlay Basketball fan and enjoyed participating as a Charlie’s Angel fan. The most important part of Linda's life was her family. She was always at her children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's sporting events and family events. This past Easter, Linda and her immediate family were able to gather for Easter. It was a great day for Linda and her family.

Visitation for Linda will be on Friday April 23, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Dr S., McComb, Ohio 45858. Additional visitation for Linda will be on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 12noon until the time of Linda's Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM in the funeral home, with Pastor Rob Johnson officiating. Those attending the visitation and Celebration of Life Service are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Linda’s Celebration of Life Service will be livestreamed on the Hanneman Funeral Home Findlay & McComb Facebook page.
