Linda (Mackenzie) Thiebaut

Linda Thiebaut, 71, Whitehouse, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away on October 22, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 28, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Ruth (Purvis) and Richard MacKenzie.

After graduating from Anthony Wayne Schools in 1970, Linda married Donald Thiebaut on January 26, 1974 and they shared 28 years of marriage together until his passing. She worked as a stay-at-home mom until her kids grew older and later worked for Rimer Enterprises, Inc. in Waterville, retiring in 2014. Linda enjoyed reading mysteries, baking,  cooking fantastic meals for her family and doted on her granddaughter Paige. They were truly two peas in a pod.

Linda is survived by her son, Sean (Thomas French) Thiebaut; daughter, Christina (Christian) Crill; granddaughter Paige Crill and brother Larry MacKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or Project Purple.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1st from 10:00 am until the time of her celebration of life at noon at Hanneman Funeral Home, 24084 W. Second Street, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522. Committal service will immediately follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery.
