Lori Pickering Obituary

Lori Rose Wilkinson Pickering, 59, of Findlay, Ohio passed away at the Bridge Hospice Care Center on April 4, 2021.

She was born on February 18, 1962 to the late Merrill Leo and Lyra Rose (Longacre) Wilkinson in Fostoria, Ohio. Lori is survived by her son; Sgt. Justin G. Pickering; brother-in-law Dennis J Dorman; nieces: Brenda (Randy) Fenstermaker, Andi Cramer, Jaime Ramsey, Erin Shafer; nephew Brad Dorman; as well as many great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was proceeded in death by her parents; sister Lynn Dorman; brother Merrillo Leo “Lee” Wilkinson Jr.; and step-mother Marilyn Wilkinson.

Lori was a 1980 graduate of Elmwood High School, and went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University in 1984 as well as her Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 1997. She was a member of Van Buren Presbyterian Church as well as the Ohio State Alumni Club of Hancock County. She was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed anything pink and sparkly. Prior to COVID, Lori worked as a sales manager at Town Place Suites by Marriott.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday April 8, 2021 at 5:00 PM in the Van Buren Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Market St., Van Buren, Ohio 45889, which will be livestreamed on the Hanneman Funeral Home Findlay & McComb Facebook Page.
