Louise Woessner

Louise Marie Woessner, 93, of Bowling Green, OH peacefully entered her eternal rest on December 12, 2024 surrounded by her children.  Born on October 26, 1931 to the late Perry E and Gertrude (Glauner) Holeman in Jerry City, Ohio, Louise graduated valedictorian of her class at Cygnet School in 1949.  She married John J Woessner on December 17, 1949 in Bowling Green and he preceded her in death on February 10, 2011.

Throughout her adult life Louise held multiple positions of employment and retired from Lawndale Mobile Plaza in Weston, OH.  She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and dancing, and she and John were accomplished western square dancers, belonging to several clubs, the latest being the Rhythm Ramblers of Waterville, OH.  Louise's greatest love was spending time with her (4) kids: Debbie (Dan) Rochte, Cathie (John) Young, Amy Eddy and Brad Woessner (Korie Poling); (11) grandchildren: David (Laura), Jerry, Sherry, John Jr. (Rina), Wayland, Cody (Jessica), Randi (Troy), Shane (Jennifer), Kimber (Juan), Crystal (John), Michael (Heather); (25) great-grandchildren; and (6) great-great grandchildren, and special niece Wendy (Boyd) Horn. 

Along with her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her siblings: Floyd, Willis, Mae, and Helen, and son-in-law Stevie Jo Eddy. 

Contributions may be gifted to an organization of the donor's choice.

Visitation for Louise will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  All visitors are welcome to join the family for a meal following the service.
