Lulu "Lou" Montalvo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lulu M. Montalvo “Lou” on January 24, 2025 at the age of 95.  Born March 28, 1929 in Sugar Ridge, Ohio, Lou lived most of her life in Bowling Green and was a dedicated housekeeper to several families there for many years. She loved country music, fishing, Cleveland Indians baseball and her cardinal bird decor.  Lou also had a special fondness for a cup of steaming hot coffee or a cold Pepsi. 

Lou is survived by her sons Jose and Ralph (Kathy) Rodriguez, eleven grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Santiago “Jim” Montalvo; infant daughter Christina Rodriguez; grandson Jose Rodriguez lll; mother, Caroline Foster; and sisters Mickey Romero and Helen Schooner

A Celebration of Life will be held at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home on February 8, 2025 at 10:00am. A private graveside service will take place at Wood County Memory Gardens.
