Lynn A. “Dink” Shook, 43, of Lima passed away Monday January 4, 2021 at the Lima Memorial Hospital.

Lynn was born on February 5, 1977 in Lima, Ohio to Lynn and Pamela (Best) Shook. He is survived by his children Avanti “Shay” and Steven Shook both of Lima; mother Pamela Steed of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren: Khylin Johnson, Giovanni Malcolm and Foxleigh Shook; siblings: Bill Shook of Cincinnati, Jenny (Gary Boroff) of Charleston, South Carolina and Bonnie (Kevin) Mahan of Dublin, Ohio and his fiancé Helen Bess. He was preceded in death by his father Lynn W. Shook.

Lynn better known to some as Dink was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed listening to hip hop and classic rock music. Dink was a jokester who could light up a room with his laugh and had a nickname for everyone. Most of all, Dink loved his family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home, Lima.
