Mary Brooks Obituary

Mary Carolyn Brooks, 84, of Attica passed away on Thursday October 31, 2019.

Mrs. Brooks, known to most as Carolyn, was born to Fred and Frances Kerr in Jerry City, Ohio on March 3, 1935. She graduated from Scott High School in 1953 and the Flower Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. She went on to serve as a surgical nurse in Toledo, Willard and the Bellevue Hospital. Carolyn married Glenn W. Brooks on August 15, 1959 and together they raised four children.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Glenn; her sons: Glenn Jr. (Linda) of rural Tiffin, Gregory of Attica, and Jeffrey (Denise) of Tiffin; as well as five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Carolyn is predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Candy Lynn.

Services for Carolyn will be private.
