It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary A. Haspeslagh, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world peacefully on May 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on July 20, 1948, Mary lived a full life filled with love, creativity, and generosity.
She is survived by her children: Cynthia (Kenneth) Silcox, Joe Haspeslagh, and Jocelyn Haspeslagh (Dennis Meyers); her siblings: Pat, Joni, David, and James; and her cherished grandchildren: Christopher, Michael (Kaitlyn), and Eric, along with her great-grandchildren Lorelei and Oliver. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas P. Haspeslagh, son Charles, brother Ken, and a grandson Ashton.
A proud graduate of Plymouth High School, Mary devoted her life to her family as a dedicated homemaker. She had a passion for drawing, writing, gardening, and feeding the birds, which brought her immense joy.
Visitation will be held at Hanneman Funeral Home-Attica on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11:00 am until the time of her Celebration of Life service to at 2:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Attica.
Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, an organization that Mary held close to her heart.
