Nancy Zeigler

Nancy Zeigler, 72, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on January 2, 2020. She was born on September 9, 1947 to the late Robert and Donelda (George) Eschedor.  She married Donald Zeigler on October 14, 1967 and they were married for 44 years before he passed away on July 10, 2012.

Nancy is survived by her sons: Dennis (Jen Shank) Zeigler of Bowling Green; Dean (Jodi) Zeigler of Atlanta, GA; Daniel (Heidi) Zeigler of Wayne;  Donald (Melissa) Zeigler of Wayne; Bruce (Grace) Snavely of Viera, FL; as well as 6 other foster children; sister Vicki Eschedor; grandchildren: Cole, Wyatt, Gracie, Tate, Ryken, Kenna, & Lilly.

Nancy worked at Wood Lane School for 30 years as an assistant manager of food services. She was the Elmwood Boosters Secretary, volunteered to run the concessions, and helped with nearly every fundraiser.  She was a 4H club advisor for 20 years.  Nancy was a surrogate mother to many and a servant to Elmwood school and her community.  She will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Gathering for Nancy will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 3:00 PM until the time of her Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home 1460 W. Wooster Street Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Please dress in casual attire (jeans and boots).
